SECRETS is a multimedia project exploring paranoia, fear, and anxiety. Viewers are led to consider biological and emotional turmoil simultaneously with classified material that holds larger conspiratorial implications.
The visual language was developed as a means to juxtapose natural elements with man-made ones - to mimic the relationship between electronic and acoustic sound. Classic film techniques, like superimposition, were utilized to imitate the layering and spectral imaging effects used to process the sound.

SECRETS was selected to show in two main programs for Videoart Festival in Split, Croatia (October 2020) and was awarded SPECIAL MENTION.
SECRETS x Riga, Latvia
SECRETS was part of the selection of the 1st Split VideoArt Festival that will be shown at the International Video & Contemporary Art Festival: WATERPIECES (Riga, Latvia). The Festival hosts outdoor and indoor screenings at the art center, NOASS, showing international video art to local audience in Riga. The Festival has been running since 2000 in various formats over the years. SECRETS was programmed for August 18, 2021.
SECRETS x Eindhoven, NL
SECRETS was selected to show in for Flickers Festival in Eindhoven, Netherlands (2023).
The festival happens in Eindhoven at different locations and times every two to three months.
Flickers originally was a monthly event held at the Starr Bar in Brooklyn, New York, which screened a variety of experimental works for live audiences from programmer Evan Schwartz. In 2023, Flickers for the first time was brought outside of the United States.
